ATC (part of Arvato) has taken delivery of a new Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable transport solutions.

The vehicle was supplied by Midlands Truck & Van, with the handover managed by Truck Sales Executive Matteo Mirabile, supported by Martin Kelly, Truck Sales eConsultant, who provided expert guidance on electric truck capability and integration.

The fully electric eActros 600 will be deployed to support ATC (part of Arvato) specialist operations transporting data centre infrastructure across the UK, with the potential to operate throughout Europe as requirements expand.

The addition of the eActros 600 further enhances ATC (part of Arvato) capability to deliver complex, high-value data centre projects while significantly reducing environmental impact. ATC (part of Arvato) offers a complete data centre solution for global technology and cloud services companies encompassing transport, logistics and installation.

Sustainability at the Core

Sustainability is embedded at the heart of ATC (part of Arvato) operations, with a clear roadmap toward a low- and zero-emission future:

• HVO Fuel Adoption: Since 2023, ATC (part of Arvato) has replaced conventional diesel with HVO fuels across its fleet, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%.

• Electrification Roadmap: Electric trucks and vans are already in operation, with ambitious plans to electrify the first long-haul lanes across Europe in 2026.

• Investment in a Green Future: ATC (part of Arvato) has committed €22.5 million over the next five years to zero-emission infrastructure and fleet transition.

The introduction of the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 represents a major step forward in this journey, combining long-range electric capability with the performance required for mission-critical data centre logistics.
