First of Ten: JST Haulage Takes Delivery of High-Spec Mercedes-Benz Actros Tractor Units

JST Haulage Limited has taken delivery of the first three of ten new Mercedes-Benz Actros 2548 LS ProCabin BigSpace tractor units, marking a significant investment in fleet modernisation, driver comfort, and operational efficiency.

The vehicles were officially handed over by Truck Sales Executive Sean Curran of Midlands Truck & Van, who will oversee the full delivery programme of all ten units.

These latest-generation Actros trucks are equipped with cutting-edge safety technology designed to enhance driver protection and reduce risk on the road. Features include Active Brake Assist 6, Proximity Control Assist, Attention Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist—providing intelligent support systems that help keep drivers safe and operations running smoothly.

In addition to the factory specification, the vehicles have been enhanced with several CVC extras tailored to driver needs and operational efficiency. These include a Left Turn Alarm, microwave, Anderson Lead Connector, and a 2000-watt inverter, ensuring drivers are well-equipped for life on the road.

All ten units will be backed by comprehensive full Repair & Maintenance contracts through the Midlands Truck & Van Milton Keynes depot. The site already supports JST Haulage Limited’s growing fleet of Mercedes-Benz trucks, reinforcing a strong and ongoing partnership.
