RSP UK celebrates 10 years in the business

Midlands Truck & Van was delighted to join RSP UK Suction Excavators Ltd in celebrating its 10th anniversary at a special evening held at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield on 26 September 2026.

The event brought together around 250 guests, including customers, suppliers, colleagues and representatives from RSP Germany, to celebrate a decade of growth and reflect on the people and partnerships behind the business. The evening also recognised the contributions of Nigel Gardener, who is retiring after more than 50 years in the industry, and Jens Graber, who is stepping back from his role on the RSP UK board.

A long-standing partnership

Our relationship with RSP began in January 2020, and since then, Midlands Truck & Van has supplied the business with more than 300 trucks. We’re proud to have supported RSP over the years and to have played a part in its journey, building a strong working relationship that we look forward to continuing for many years to come.

To mark this important milestone, we arranged a special anniversary gift for the RSP team: a trip to Germany to visit the Mercedes-Benz truck facilities and factory. The visit will offer an opportunity to learn more about the brand and see its operations first-hand. We hope the team enjoys the experience.

 

Supporting a meaningful cause

A key part of RSP’s anniversary celebrations was its support for the Henry Allen Trust, a Milton Keynes charity chosen by the business for its anniversary year.

The charity was established in memory of Henry, who sadly passed away aged just four and had a particular love of road sweepers. In his memory, RSP dedicated a Brock road sweeper featuring Henry’s image and the Trust’s livery. The vehicle was displayed outside The Belfry during the celebrations, helping to raise awareness of the charity’s work.

Thanks to the generosity of those attending the evening, £15,500 was raised for the Henry Allen Trust. It was a fitting part of the celebrations, bringing people together to support a cause that means a great deal to RSP.
